Recently, I was looking at the registration of sci-hub.io
in light of a recent US court decision, and the well-known Russian pirate site hosting illicit copies of millions of scientific papers was still working fine.
Not anymore. That address appears to have been taken down, but an alternative seems to be working fine:
$ nslookup sci-hub.bg Server: 127.0.0.1 Address: 127.0.0.1#53 ** server can't find sci-hub.bg: NXDOMAIN $ nslookup sci-hub.bz Server: 127.0.0.1 Address: 127.0.0.1#53 Non-authoritative answer: Name: sci-hub.bz Address: 104.28.21.155 Name: sci-hub.bz Address: 104.28.20.155
Wonder how long before they take the .bz
address down, too.
