Today, I am proud to announce what I consider my most important paper yet.
I consider it especially fortunate that it managed to appear at the very top of the listing of new papers in the subject group general relativity and quantum cosmology, on this important date.
Needless to say, I am very proud of my work.
Viktor, I wanted heartily congratulate you – remembering one recent post of your other work submitted to some of the leading science journals – initially I thought it is a continuation… Then I thought it is a completely different direction of your research… Then I slowly recognized the word “Feline” in the title at last. I should confess I was cautious even to start reading the title and abstract, guessing this may immediately led to things like gravity tensor at least.
Then I started slowly thinking about the date of publishing. The post is marked with March 31 however. I was happy to discover the more proper date on the paper in the arxiv itself. Well. It’s so difficult to joke when your reader is such a slowpoke.
By the way I was amused to find a picture of a fellow jumping between two cupboards in the paper. I guess it is some of your pets also? It’s surprising of how some people think similarly of taking picture of the jumping cat. Perhaps I mentioned this one – my Rameses the Pharaoh whose “flying” image keeps steadily in the top of popularity among photographs on my page in lomography.

Hmmm, maybe I should have waited until after midnight with my blog post? (Well, it was past midnight UTC but still.) Well, let me see if I can manage to alter the date in the database. And yes, the flying fellow was Marzipan, our first cat who died in 2000. It was incredible that my wife managed to snap that picture (with an old school Polaroid, long before smartphones and digital cameras) capturing him mid-flight. Love your Ramses… nice catch, that image!
