Thanks! May I also ask how or by whom their names are picked? Here tradition insists cat’s names should contain some “hushing” sounds to be recognizable by cats (though I don’t quite believe it). Our first we called Saffi – my wife proposed this by association with a cartoon – there was a girl Saffi and little black-and-white cat Saffi.
All three cats are shelter cats. We kept the names given to them by the shelter (or, in the case of Freddy, I was made to understand, by his previous owners). But we like those names.
Sure, Hi Freddy! Oh those eyes, oh those whiskers!
Our pets join in sending hearty meows and other sounds!
I’m a bit confused about total number of kitties in the family now – four, if I may ask?
Three. Freddy, Raina and Rigby.
