What caught my eye was the equation on this sheet. What??? Einstein&#8217;s field equations?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6251\" src=\"https:\/\/spinor.info\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/20140812_230229.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"626\" height=\"422\" srcset=\"https:\/\/spinor.info\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/20140812_230229.jpg 626w, https:\/\/spinor.info\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/20140812_230229-300x202.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 626px) 100vw, 626px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Yup, that&#8217;s exactly what I saw there, the equation \\(G_{\\alpha\\beta}=\\dfrac{8\\pi G}{c^4}T_{\\alpha\\beta}\\). General relativity.<\/p>\n<p>Other, easily recognizable equations on the sheet included an equation of the electrostatic Coulomb force, the definition of the quantum mechanical probability amplitude, and the continuity equation.<\/p>\n<p>What struck me was that all these are legitimate equations from physics, not gibberish. And all that in a silly Subway commercial.
