As in, hate more than the sound of a hundred piecees of chalk screeching on a hundred chalkboards) the song, but I was hesitant to give them more publicity in my blog.<\/p>\n<p>Until I came across a story from last August <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestar.com\/news\/canada\/2012\/08\/15\/marineland_animals_suffering_former_staffers_say.html\">about animal suffering<\/a> at the park.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rRyXGq1zcTs\" height=\"360\" width=\"640\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Not exactly unexpected, to be honest, though even the singer who sings that horrendous jingle <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestar.com\/news\/gta\/2012\/08\/16\/everyone_loves_marineland_singer_wants_voice_pulled_from_commercials.html\">found the accusations shocking<\/a>. She&#8217;d now prefer to see the jingle&#8217;s tag line replaced with &#8220;All the whales haaaate Marineland!&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>And I do, too, now for more than one reason.<\/p>\n<fb:like href='https:\/\/spinor.info\/weblog\/?p=5259' send='false' layout='button_count' show_faces='true' width='450' height='65' action='like' colorscheme='light' font='lucida grande'><\/fb:like>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I grumbled once in this blog already about the incessant Marineland commercials on most Canadian channels this time of the year.
