Not so today&#8230; Geist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ottawacitizen.com\/news\/Counterfeiting+treaty+leaves+room+made+Canada+approach\/3655651\/story.html\">appears to welcome<\/a> the near-final version of ACTA, the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement, notably its relatively flexible approach to copy protection and digital access controls. It seems that sanity may prevail, despite <a href=\"http:\/\/spinor.info\/weblog\/?p=1190\">earlier concerns<\/a> about secretly negotiated Draconian restrictions.
